MORE BRAIN DROPPINGS

Hello boys, girls and those yet undecided, I do not feel well today.  I'm either getting sick, or the weather changes are kicking my "NOT so small" ass.  So between that and the Sandman being skidmark and not giving me a good nights sleep; I'm a little more cranky than I'm used too.

But by all that is good and holy I am trying so hard to be positive.  This weekend I'll be sending off an email, I have been avoiding sending.  I guess it's time for me to finally admit there is no going forward or coming back, when all you can see is the wreckage that was left in the wake.

Well that ended up being a little depressing didn't it.  Sorry.  Let's just proceed with the silliness that this  was supposed to be, until I had the brainstorm to write a little intro...so without further ado....

BRAIN DROPPINGS 1

Hello one and all...which if my math is still accurate makes a total of 4 of you who still read this waste of space.

First I want to thank youl for being patient with me, the last 3 1/2 months have not been easy ones.

I know I've always been pretty open about my life on here, but there are somethings, that at this time, I can't talk about.

But as we all know, that could very well change by tomorrow.

Now with that said...

Getting back in the habit of writing is taking more getting used to than I thought.  I know I've gone longer without writing anything, but this time, it's like the writing wind has been knocked out of me, and I'm trying like hell to break through that wall.

Until I finally get past that mental block, here's some random brain droppings for you enjoyment...

5 YARD PENALTY FALSE START- BLOGGER =STILL FIRST DOWN

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears...or eyes I guess.  HEY...maybe one day I'll try doing a podcast

...that's an idea I have to store in the recesses of my grey matter...anyway Hiya!

How have you all been?

I'm still breathing and upright.

Only recently have I started to enjoy this particular ailment.

I don't know why or how this change came about, but a couple of guys named Mark and Fred have both stated that I should just enjoy it while I'm feeling it.

Mark and Fred have been kind of been like my Obi-wan Kenobi

and Yoda.

They keep me focused on my path, and everyday I wake up I am grateful for that fact.

I'm still trying to get back into a writing state of mind so please bear with the few start and stops that I know are coming...

Now with that said...here's a what I've been up to...

3:30 AM Oct 8th - A Movie Review in Less Than 10 Seconds

Damage

When it comes movies so far, Steve Austin has picked movies that are worth watching. The acting is average, until you take a closer look. The script has a very "blue collar" feel, which fits with the mood of the film. The acting seems average, until you realize that they are acting like real, average and broken people. The fight scenes could have been better but I have seen worse. The story itself is extremely predictable. Basically this is a violent, feel good movie, with some shining moments of reality mixed in. 3/5

BIGFOOT, LOCH NESS MONSTER, JOSE'S BLOG - WHICH IS MORE ELUSIVE? 2

Well where the hell have I been?  That's probably one of the best questions I have ever asked myself.  I haven't been me in so long I actually forgot who I was for a while.  It seems the "Hulk smash-leave Hulk alone" aspect of myself has been running the show and I finally got tired of it.  I am still an outdated train hurtling down the tracks of life in a dark tunnel, but for once there is a light up ahead.  Now while I have been on this path, I still on occasion spent a minute or two killing brain cells and searing the retinas by spending time seated here in front of the window to this digital world.  With that said enjoy this mish mash of miscellaneous brain droppings, internet findings and all out foolishness...

Surrogates

A great idea, not enough character development, the plot was slow moving, then rushed in the end, visuals and f/x were very good, acting was average.

I can see why this kind of story works so well in the comic book format, where you have time to set the pace, develop the characters and establish the moods.

These are tools that are hard to work and wield properly in a 90 minute time limit.

Until they release an extended directors cut; definitely a one time watch.
